While trolling Pinterest today as part of my marketing job (Gosh, I love my job!), I came across this pin:
It almost made me cry. What a beautiful list of wisdom. And honestly, as I read through them, I realized that I could certainly use a refresher in some areas. “Show your loved ones your support, even if what excites them bores you to tears” hit quite close to home; I will keep that one in mind (and heart) the next time I have to sit through a five-minute rundown on Pokemon and Minecraft. (Though I think I may repay the favor to my children and have them practice this credo by making them listen to me reminisce about the 80s.)
